RECRUITMENT - We’d like
to first of all say “thank you” to all of you who have mentioned our program
to family and friends. Our Family Partners, Jo, Elizabeth and Ludi, have
been very busy taking applications for the HEAD START and PRE-K programs for
the upcoming school year. We take applications ALL year, and will begin
notifying parents of acceptance/enrollments for Head Start beginning May
1st.

Parents of 3 year old
children that are currently enrolled in our Head Start program will be
meeting with our family partners beginning in April to re enroll your
children for the 2008-2009 school year.

NO SCHOOL - April 7 -
11 for Spring Break. Have a safe, happy and restful time with your family!

KINDERGARTEN TRANSITION
- This month we begin to share a lot of important information for you
parents who have children that will begin KINDERGARTEN this fall.

—Kindergarten
Registration begins at the elementary schools. Please plan to take your
child
to register for school.

April 18 - 9:00AM– Noon

Thank you for
continuing to do Home Learning Activities with your child. Our teachers are
seeing tremendous growth with the children, and we believe that working
together on certain developmental skills is the best way for your child to
learn.

are preparing for the State sponsored “Standards of Care Evaluation”
sometime this month. Please help your teachers out any way they ask while we
prepare to earn this valuable program recognition!
